The Carnegie Center was host Friday evening to the Affrilachian poets reading, Writing Peace and Justice. The event was part of the 20 days for Peace and Justice by the Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice. The reading featured Nikky Finney, Frank X Walker, Ricardo Nazario Colon, Mitchell L. H. Douglas, Jude McPherson and Bianca Spriggs with emcee Marta Miranda. We were thrilled to welcome 120 members of the community into our building for such a great event.
